Growing up I believed there was only ONE way that healthy looks like but today I create my content for that girl. To show her that healthy looks different on everyone, AND THAT'S OKAY. I hope this message and this Award could be a light + help other men, women, the amazing + beautiful people who come across my content feel inspired to KEEP TRYING. To make their goals a reality. However it may look!”
Lexie (she/her) is your favorite Gordita in the gym. She’s spent way too much of her life not seeing women who look like her in the health and wellness industry. Let’s Chat With Lexie: “Last year I applied for the IHC Fashionista award and I didn’t win but I didn’t let that get me down. I always had a love for fitness and this time my love grew and grew so I decided why not shoot my shot for the health and wellness category. Here I am now top 5, I’ve always been taught never give up. I know I’m not the industry standard for “health and wellness” but what does that even mean? I’m here again this year. I keep it real, I show the good and the bad, and I feel like that’s what it’s all about.”
